Known for its commitment to good social, environmental and governance practices, Cerbras announces a partnership with Enel through the Ecoenel project, to hold its 1st Sustainability Week, which takes place between the 23rd and 27th of September. The union of companies aims to inform and raise awareness about the importance of selective collection, through incentive campaigns for internal and external audiences.
The objective of the action is to collect household waste from suppliers, employees and the local community, so that it can be recycled and converted into a discount on the energy bill, contributing to the reduction and control of environmental pollution.
Instead of using the bonus on their own energy bill, project participants will also be able to allocate it to a social institution, which is located in Enel's concession area. “Through this partnership, we generate shared value and reinforce the commitment of both institutions to the environment and society as a whole”, highlights Ticiana Mota, administrative and environmental vice-president at Cerbras.
Sustainability Week has a program full of lectures, educational blitzes, workshops, and musical shows, which will be presented by some of the social projects supported by the factory. “The expectation is that employees can get involved in building an ecologically viable future for future generations”, highlights Camila Freitas, environmental supervisor.
“By adopting sustainable practices, we are strengthening our brand and providing a healthier and more productive workplace”, concludes the vice president.
