Cerbras started in the ceramic tiles market in the 1990s, under the command of members of the Mota family, great pioneers in the segment in the state of Ceará. Throughout its history, the brand has undergone some adaptations. In 1999, it was renamed Porto Velho, a name used for more than 10 years.

The brand underwent an update and adopted CERBRAS as its new nomenclature and a new design, as a way of adapting to the requirements and demands of the ceramics market. The purpose of the update was also to strengthen the positioning and practices of socio-environmental responsibility.

The CERBRAS factory is located in Maracanaú – CE. Throughout the company's development, its production capacity evolved exponentially.

CERBRAS sells its products through its sales force throughout the North and Northeast of Brazil. And abroad, more than 30 countries, employing more than 1,200 employees.
