Celebrando a rica herança cultural e musical do Ceará, o ‘Lounge Raízes Cearenses’ é um espaço imersivo, assinado pelos arquitetos e sócios Beto e Renan Barrocas, que marca a estreia do escritório Barrocas Arquitetura na 26ª edição da CASACOR Ceará.
“All the elements in this space refer to the regional scene, from the shapes of the walls that resemble the dunes to the floor made with Mirage Matte 1.20 x 1.20 porcelain tiles from Cerbras”, explains Beto.
A national reference in high-standard coatings, Cerbras is a genuinely Ceará company, just like Barrocas Arquitetura. This similarity was one of the reasons that made the architect duo choose to use the brand's materials, not only in the lounge, but also in other office projects. “We chose this product because of the quality it offers and because it has some details that remind us of the cracks in the dry earth and the reddish tone of the country clay, something that delights our eyes at the same time that it punishes the caatinga soil”, highlights Renan.
Inspired by the “Pessoal do Ceará” movement, the environment was designed to provide a complete sensory experience, stimulating visitors’ five senses. “The vision is covered with decoration that evokes the landscape and local vegetation; listening is surrounded by an emblematic soundtrack by Belchior, Fagner, Fausto Nilo, Ednardo, Rodger Rogério, Teti, Amelinha, among others”, highlights Beto.
“Complemented by the sound of a central waterfall, which becomes the focal point of the space, connecting it to the fluidity of the water; the sense of smell is stimulated by aromas typical of the flora of Ceará; touch, through the different textures in fabrics and furniture; and the palate, with regional flavors present in the environment. The proposal is to offer a complete immersion in the state’s cultural roots”, concluded Renan.
With the concept “From the present, now”, the lounge promotes an interactive and fluid experience, where visitors actively participate through games such as pool and darts. Sustainability is also a central point, with the use of natural and reused materials, as well as integrated vegetation that reinforces the connection with nature. The space invites visitors to live in the present, valuing leisure and Ceará culture in a unique and authentic way.
